Let's expand the idea of in-game physical messaging. Craft a postcard and deposit in someones crafted mailbox on their parcel. This will allow geo-based communication in game.

What if the cost was relative to how far you're sending it in the gotchiverse? What if there was a small gig economy for gotchis to deliver postcards and they earn a portion paid postage from the sender? 
This would create jobs in the gotchiverse where you could earn money by doing work (delivery). Proof of Delivery (PoD) haha.
You could even have a certain wearable be for delivering postcards. You'd see a gotchi sprinting along in the gotchiverse, delivering mail.
Generalizing: Delivering postcards would be one example of a "taask" you can elect to do with your gotchi to earn fees. A gig economy within the gotchiverse.

Crystallovescows: Definitely could but I see this as an opportunity to simultaneously inspire in-game communication as well create more alchemica consumption. Just drop your discord name in your first post card and then you can migrate the convo. :)

The moar I think about this, I think there is potential to scale up as a gotchiverse wide in-game "physical" mail delivery system. Craft a mailbox or postcard to participate. 
Buuuuut then also place a centrally located dropbox per Gotchiverse district. These messages are collected and routed to be delivered via mail carriers to other districts to save customers the hassle of long distance overland travel in order to deliver a personal message. These mail carriers can be compensated for their labor with a directional portion of the alchemica used for crafting mailboxes or postcards.
That can all be after the fact though. Let's think mailbox and postcard crafting for now. We can scale based on adoption and interest.
